Important Information About Wheel Refurbishment
Alloy wheel refurbishment is a repair and restoration service, not the supply of brand-new wheels. Our goal is always to return your wheels in the best possible condition using professional equipment, proven processes, and high-quality coatings.
However, every wheel has its own history. Many have been previously refurbished, diamond cut, or affected by corrosion, road salt, and general wear over time. In some cases, corrosion can sit within the alloy itself, underneath the original finish. While we fully strip, repair, treat, and refinish the wheel, corrosion that has penetrated into the metal cannot always be completely removed. This means that, on heavily affected wheels, very faint marks or texture differences may still be visible after refurbishment.
Likewise, because refurbishment is a skilled repair process rather than manufacturing a new wheel, there is a small chance of minor cosmetic imperfections, such as subtle surface variations. These are purely visual, do not affect safety or durability, and are considered normal within professional refurbishment standards.
We take great pride in our workmanship and always aim for the highest possible finish. If, during inspection, we feel a wheelโs condition may limit the final cosmetic result, we will explain this clearly before any work begins so expectations are fully understood.
By choosing refurbishment, you are opting for a high-quality restoration that significantly improves the appearance and longevity of your wheels, while recognising that refurbished wheels may not be absolutely identical to brand-new replacements.
If you have any questions or would like us to assess your wheels before booking, our team will be happy to help.
